These Stainless Steel 347H Orifice Flanges offers good resistance to polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking, encountered in oil refineries. The use of slow speeds and constant positive feeds will minimize the tendency of our SS 347 Threaded Flanges to work harden. These Stainless Steel 347H Socket Weld Flanges should be considered for applications requiring intermittent heating between 800 Degree F (427 Degree C) and 1650 Degree F (899 Degree C), or for welding under conditions which prevent a post-weld anneal. Our Stainless Steel 347 Weld Neck Flanges is columbium stabilized austenitic stainless steel plate with good general corrosion resistance and somewhat better resistance in strong oxidizing conditions than 321.
