SS 316L Slip On Raised Flanges is used for food preparation equipment particularly in chloride environments. Stainless Steel 316L Blind Raised Flanges is also used in marine applications and architectural applications near the seashore or in urban areas. Stainless Steel 316L Weld Neck Flanges is very frequently used in heavy gauge welded components. In case of welded applications, SS 316L Socket Weld Flanges are used for light-gauge applications. The Molybdenum in Stainless Steel 316L Threaded Flanges is the alloy composition provides excellent strength up through 800 ° F in applications. SS 316L Lap Joint Flanges is subject to work hardening during deformation and is subject to chip breaking. Stainless Steel 316L Ring Joint Type Flanges have excellent weld-ability, with or without the addition of filler metal. SS 316L Orifice Flanges is important to make sure that copper and zinc do not become contaminants at the site of welds, as this can create cracking.

LIST OF STAINLESS STEEL 316L FLANGES

Stainless Steel 316L Spectacle Blind Flanges is extensively used in the oil and gas and chemical industries for its cost effective corrosion resistance and ease of fabrication. SS 316L Nippo Flanges is non-magnetic in the annealed condition and not hardenable by heat treatment. 316L Stainless Steel Flanges has much higher resistance to chlorides at elevated temperatures, and higher strength. In more corrosive environments, SS 316L Nippo Flanges may be a more suitable option for extra protection against pitting and crevice corrosion.
