Our Alloy 20 Slatting Plates is resistant to intergranular corrosion in the as welded condition. These Alloy 20 Slatting Coils may, in most cases, be used in the "as welded" condition, where pre-heating is not required. Our Carpenter 20 Sheets offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and general corrosion in chemicals containing sulfuric, phosphoric and nitric acids. Although normally considered as a stainless steel, these Carpenter 20 Plates has been classified as a nickel base.
